Pricing

Honest pricing starts with the boat’s actual condition.

Boat detailing can’t be responsibly priced from length alone. Here’s exactly how we build an estimate you can trust — before we schedule anything.

How we price

Preliminary range → confirmed on-site → approved before work.

Preliminary range

We share an honest starting range based on your intake and photos, plus what we’d need to know to tighten it.

Confirmed on-site

When we arrive, we walk the boat with you and, for restoration, run a small test area so the scope reflects reality — not a guess.

Approved before work

Final scope, range, assumptions, and exclusions live in your portal. Nothing starts until you approve.

Factors that affect price

What actually moves the number.

Some of these are obvious. Others (like water availability or marina access) quietly change the work more than owners expect.

Pricing by service

How each service is priced.

Three services — three different pricing logics. Pick the closest fit or ask us.

One-time · No correction

Complete Wash

Full one-time reset — interior and exterior.

Best when
Dirty, salty, dusty, or generally neglected — but not badly oxidized.
Main outcome
Boat returned to a clean, presentable, ready-to-use state.
ExteriorInterior
Optional recurring · Up to heavy correction

Restoration & Protection

Correct faded, chalky, or oxidized surfaces and protect them.

Best when
Dull gelcoat, oxidation, waterline staining, or loss of gloss.
Main outcome
Improved clarity, gloss, and a fresh protective layer.
Exterior
Recurring · Light monitoring

Maintenance Wash

Ongoing recurring care for boats already in good condition.

Best when
Already clean and protected — needs consistent upkeep.
Main outcome
Boat stays ready to use between visits.

Complete Wash

Complete Wash pricing is condition-based. We start with a photo-informed range and confirm the final scope on-site — no hidden fees at the dock.

Restoration & Protection

Restoration ranges are wider than washes because outcomes depend on the surface itself. Our on-site test area lets us narrow the estimate to a firm scope before committing.

Maintenance Wash

Maintenance pricing is quoted per visit based on cadence and scope. There is no subscription — you can pause, adjust, or stop at any time.

Objection: “Why is the range so wide?”

We would rather show you an honest preliminary range than attract you with a low number that changes after we see the boat.

  • The range narrows after photos.
  • The range narrows further after your intake answers.
  • For restoration, an on-site test area often produces a firm scope.
  • You approve the written scope in your portal before anything begins.

Pricing FAQ

Everything owners usually ask.

Can you quote by boat length?

No. Length is one of many factors. Two 30-foot boats in different condition can require very different scopes. We use length as a starting input, not a whole price.

Do photos help the estimate?

Substantially. A few honest photos of the exterior, waterline, and interior let us produce a tighter range and identify anything that needs restoration rather than a wash.

Why is the range sometimes wide?

Because outcomes depend on the surface itself. Oxidation depth, staining, and interior materials can’t be judged from length. The range narrows as we learn more — through photos, answers, and, when needed, an on-site test area.

Can the final price change?

We aim to confirm a firm scope before starting. If we discover something we didn’t see in photos, we’ll pause, share what we found, and get your approval before continuing.

Does the estimate cost anything?

Estimates are free. You’re not committed until you approve the written proposal in your portal.

Do you offer recurring pricing?

Yes — our Maintenance Wash is quoted per visit based on cadence and scope. There is no subscription; you can adjust or stop any time.

Is water and electricity required?

Almost always. Most slips and driveways have both. Tell us in your intake if either isn’t available and we’ll plan accordingly.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel logic is confirmed with each estimate based on marina and job scope. We won’t surprise you with travel fees at the dock — anything of that nature is stated in the written proposal.
