Mostly just dirty
If the finish is still glossy under the grime, a Complete Wash is the better starting point.
Repair-level damage
Cracks, deep scratches, and structural gelcoat repair are outside detailing scope.
Correction depth
Scope depends on what the surface can support.
Some oxidation cannot be fully corrected. We review photos first and can run a test area on-site before committing to a level.
Level 1
Light enhancement
Removes light haze, restores gloss, and refreshes protection. Best for boats already in reasonable shape.
Level 2
Moderate correction
Addresses noticeable oxidation, waterline staining, or dull finish. Compounding is usually required.
Level 3
Heavy correction / restoration
For neglected or badly oxidized surfaces. May require multiple visits and always includes honest limits — we won’t promise a mirror finish on gelcoat that can’t support it.

Can you fully restore very old, badly oxidized gelcoat?
Sometimes, and sometimes only partially. Gelcoat has finite thickness. During inspection we’ll tell you honestly what to expect and what’s outside the limits of correction.
How long will the protection last?
It depends on the product used, your marina environment, and how the boat is maintained. We’ll recommend a realistic reapplication schedule instead of quoting a fixed guarantee.
Do you use ceramic coatings?
We discuss coating options only when the surface and use pattern support them. On many older gelcoats, a marine wax or sealant is a smarter choice.
Do I need this before starting maintenance?
If the boat is oxidized or heavily stained, yes. Maintenance is designed to preserve a good baseline, not to correct a compromised surface.
