A complete boat wash is designed to reset a boat that has become dusty, salty, or generally neglected — but is not badly oxidized. It covers the exterior surfaces, interior cabin and cockpit, and the details that get overlooked between quick wipe-downs.
What's included
- Rinse and wash of hull sides above the waterline, deck, gunwales, and cockpit.
- Detail of stainless, hardware, and non-skid surfaces.
- Interior wipe-down of cabin surfaces, vinyl, and glass.
- Vacuum of soft goods and carpet where present.
- Final walk-around with the owner or a photo report if you can't be there.
What is not included
A complete wash is not a correction service. If gelcoat is chalky, oxidized, or dull, cleaning alone will not restore gloss — that requires the Restoration & Protection workflow. We flag this during estimating so you're not surprised.

What to expect on the day
We work at the slip and don't need you on-site. Shore power and dock water access are helpful but not required — we bring what we need. On completion we send a short photo report and note anything that would benefit from restoration or protection.

Is a complete wash the same as detailing?
A complete wash is the exterior and interior cleaning portion of detailing. Correction of oxidation or heavy staining is a separate restoration workflow.
How long does it take?
Duration depends on the boat's length, layout, and condition. A typical wash on a 30–40 ft boat runs a few hours; we confirm timing in the written estimate.
